Thank you for your interest in this newly created role which we anticipate will be very enjoyable!

We are looking for someone who is already a driver with Woodcote Volunteers, to join the committee and help us by giving the drivers’ point of view. Ideally you will be friendly and approachable and have a reasonable knowledge of Microsoft office programs. You should enjoy collaborative working with other members of the team and you will often be in communication with other committe members.

Your role would include the following responsibilities:
 Introduce yourself to the drivers to let them know you are their representative and to contact yourself if they have issues, concerns or ideas for improvement.
 Assist new drivers with understanding the booking system.
 Send emails out to drivers when information needs to be passed specifically to drivers.
 If possible, attend and/or help at Woodcote Volunteers events such as the socials, Fete and fundraising coffee mornings
 If possible, attend our committee meetings, held on a Wednesday evening 4 times a year, plus the AGM.

This is a role in which you will get to meet many of your fellow volunteers, so is a sociable position, flexible with plenty of variety and you will be warmly welcomed by the committee. It is expected that on average, it will take about 1 hour per
week of your time although some weeks it will be more, while other weeks there will be nothing to do.

To find out more and/or have an informal chat, please in the first instance, email
our volunteer coordinator, Jane Forde using info@woodcotevolunteers.org.uk

Thanks very much!
